Legendary senior writer, Packers lead blogger & NFC North columnist jclombardi presents Packers "great, good, bad & ugly" awards.

GREAT:

1.  Rookie RB Lacy—24 carries for 73 yards & 2 catches for 11 yards.

2.  WR Boykin--8 receptions for 112 yards.

GOOD:

1. WR Nelson—6 catches for 56 yards.

2. TE Bostick--3 receptions for 42 yards & touchdown.

3. DE Jones--3 tackles & 2 sacks.

BAD:

1. Packers secondary—allowed embarrassing big plays, specifically 3 touchdowns.

2. Packers rushing defense--Eagles RB McCoy ran wild for 155 yards.  They gave up 205 total rushing yards.

UGLY:

1. Injuries--center Dietrich-Smith, CB Hayward, OLB Perry, and offensive lineman Barclay were injured.

2. Kicker Crosby--only 2 of 4 field goals. Painful to watch.

COMMENTARY: We are not surprised at a second straight home loss, to the lowly Eagles. With the loss of elite QB Rodgers, the offense is mediocre stuck with a Wisconsin product QB (shades of QB Randy Wright) who simply isn't up to the task to beat the NFL competition, especially with a fading defense in the second half of the 2013 season.  Life goes on and moves on, especially in the NFC North with the Lions favored to win it now. Again, against motivated physical teams, playing at home, HC McCarthy's team gets outplayed, outmuscled, and outcoached with new ongoing injuries too.
