In the ESPN video, ESPN's Rob Parker, Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless discuss Brett Favre's comments about his relationship with Packers. This has happened after Favre's interview with the NFL Network's No Huddle: Favre & Sanders led to these bold Packers sports headlines: "Favre says he has no relationship with the Packers"; "Favre: I don't need my jersey retired"; and "Favre has no relationship with the Packers but wishes them well." Thus, the Packers nation senses the continued rift and bitter blood between the retired legendary Packers quarterback and the Packers organization.
Meanwhile, retired Packers CEO Harlan provided the perspective with these pertinent comments:
He was so important to this organization and contributed so much to the resurrection of this franchise, I’ll never forget that. In some way it’s got to be healed. I just don’t know when or how it’s going to happen. It’s too bad because he’s got to be, I would almost say the greatest player we ever had.”
Yet, Favre agreed saying in the interview:
It'll happen some day. That day will come. I haven't lost any sleep over it, nor have they. I wish them well. What I did speaks for itself. What I left behind speaks for itself.
