Legendary senior writer, Packers lead blogger & NFC North columnist jclombardi presents Good, Bad & Ugly from Packers loss to Cardinals.

GOOD:

  1. Rookie LT David Bakhtiari.
  2. QB Rodgers--3 for 5 completions for 62 yards and 104 passer rating.
  3. WR  Walker--5 catches for 41 yards.
  4. ILB Francois--3 tackles and 1 sack.
  5. OL Roten--his versatility playing center, left guard & right tackle.

LOSERS:

  1. Backup QB Harrell--Harrell had two turnovers including an interception on his first series and the sack-fumble on his second series. The Packers offense had six consecutive stalled drives leading to fans booing him.
  2. Running game--running backs rushed 26 times for just 70 yards averaging a poor 2.7 yards.
  3. Cornerbacks--Packers missed starting cornerback Williams and nickel corner Hayward. CB House struggled starting for Williams at left cornerback. Rookie CB Hyde got beat on fade route for TD.

UGLY:

  1. Officials--Packers went for it on fourth-and-goal from the 2-yard line. Replays showed RB Starks cleared the goal line for a touchdown. Coach Mike McCarthy threw a challenge flag, but officials stood by their original call of a 1-yard gain.
