According to sources, veteran Charles Woodson is being released by the Packers. In his wine business's twitter tweetWoodson thanked Green Bay for a great run. Now, Woodson’s agent confirmed the news to Ian Rapoport at the NFL Network saying, “They’re getting ready to release him. It’s part of the business." With the Packers due to pay him $10 million in salary and bonuses in 2013, the move is no surprise.

Also, in fading news, veterans Driver and Saturday recently retired. Further, free agent wide receiver Jennings has his Wisconsin house for sale, while he seeks more money elsewhere with a new team.

Next, we shall see what happens to ILB Hawk and TE Finley. Stay tune!
