Legendary senior writer & Packers lead blogger jclombardi reports veteran running back Grant is signed to replace injured running back Starks.

In the photo, wide receiver Greg Jennings is showing us about the yahoo film crew filimng one of his family's tea parties with his girls for an "Outside The Game" episode.  Good luck with that!

Monday, Monday, it just turns out that way. Meanwhile, the big Packers news today was about former running back Ryan Grant returning to Lambeau and getting a standing ovation from his teammates. We are happy about this long overdue management personnel move, although better late than never with GM Thompson knowing Starks would probably get hurt again.

Finally while Ryan Grant felt that the greeting was a joke, quarterback Aaron Rodgers told him that it was legitimate out-of-respect for him. We agree. Fans should read carefully this tidbit from the Wisconsin Packers fluff press about it:

Either way, when the Green Bay Packers running back met his old (and new) teammates again, he was met with booming applause. The team's fifth all-time leading rusher is back for the stretch run when the Packers need him most. Cedric Benson is down. James Starks is down. Brandon Saine is down. So this week, Grant got the call back....
